Crispy Fried Mushroom

Crispy fried mushroom is an easy and healthy option for a snack. Most of the ingredients are all available in my kitchen so everything else is just easy. So, here's how it goes.

  • 1 can of whole button mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup of flour
  • 2 eggs - scrambled
  • breadcrumbs / panko
  • pinch of salt and pepper

  1. Put together scrambled eggs, salt, pepper and flour. Mix all together until smooth batter has formed.
  2. Dip mushrooms into the batter and coat evenly. Allow excess batter to drip off.
  3. Roll the mushrooms in breadcrumbs until coated thoroughly. Repeat until all mushrooms are coated.
  4. Heat deep fryer. Deep fry mushrooms in batches until golden brown.
  5. Drain on paper towels.
  6. Serve and enjoy!
