Adobong Pusit

Nothing to say…. This is just my husband’s favorite dish. =D



  • ½ KG Pusit (squid)
  • 3-4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 pieces Tomatoes chopped
  • 1/3 cup vinegar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 3 tbsp. cooking oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper


  1. Pull out head, tentacles, innards and transparent ribs from the body of the squid.
  2. Wash and drain bodies and tentacles.
  3. Cut Squid in about 1 inch in size. Set aside.
  4. Sauté garlic, onions and tomatoes in hot oil.
  5. Add drained squids and vinegar, simmer until the juices evaporates (about 10 minutes).
  6. Add water and season with salt and pepper. Let it simmer for another 10-15 minutes.
